Differentiated HepaRG No-Spin cells - HPR116NS

Save time on washing and counting your cells

HepaRGNo-Spin cells not only present all the advantages of differentiated HepaRG cryopreserved cells HPR116 but also allow direct thawing and seeding of cryopreserved differentiated cells  without the need for post-thaw washing, counting and centrifugation steps. 

HepaRG™ HPR116NS cells are cryopreserved after differentiation, using a proprietary process developed by Biopredic International.
A few days after thawing and seeding, the cells will form a co-culture of hepatocytes and biliary epithelial-like cells.

HPR116-NS are provided in 0.5 mL vials with ≥ 8 x 106 viable cells
Cell seeding:
- One vial will seed one 96-well plate (72 000 cells/well)
- One vial will seed 16 wells of one 24-well plate (480 000 cells/well)
Please carefully respect recommended cell seeding density.

The starting volume of cell suspension should be 8 mL for one vial. According to the cell culture support used, a volume of plating medium should be added to achieve the total volume of cell suspension needed, indicated on the certificate of analysis (COA).

 1. Thaw and dilute cells with 9 mL of thawing medium (10 ml / 8 million cells / 1% DMSO)   1. Thaw and dilute cells with 7.5 mL of thawing/plating medium (8 ml / 8 million cells / 0.5% DMSO)
 2. Spin-down wash cells and re-suspend cells with 5 mL thawing /plating medium with 0.5% DMSO     2 steps saved
 3. Count cells for viability, concentration and yield     
 4. Adjust cell concentration to 0.96 million cells/mL  and plate cells.   2. Add a volume of plating medium to achieve the total volume of cell suspension needed for plating, indicated on certificate of analysis (COA).

 

Storage and delivery conditions for HPR116NS

Differentiated HepaRG™ No-Spin cryopreserved cells are delivered in dry ice or in a nitrogen vapour dewar. If you receive them in dry ice, ensure shipment time did not exceed 48 hours.

HPR116NS cells can be stored for 5 years in liquid nitrogen.
